Portascan 007

The PortaScan 007 is currently discontinued. It was a portable ultrasonic imaging system suited for corrosion monitoring, ultrasonic detection, and bond color scan imaging applications. This advanced, portable system was equipped with optional automatic or manual scanners that allowed for high-resolution imaging of ultrasonic or amplitude data.

With its sophisticated design and capabilities, the PortaScan 007 offered innovative solutions for eddy current phase plane analysis, mechanical impendance plane bond analysis, detect pitting, corrosion, laminations and cracks and thru paint and coating measurement. The PortaScan 007 was recommended for use in pressure vessels, pipelines, cranes, bridges, storage tanks, railroad tank cars, ship hulls/decking, tube trailers, aging aircraft, composites, rocket motor cases, torpedo housing, rolls, plates, billets, bars, and more
