Embedded Software Engineer
NDT Systems, Inc., manufactures a broad range of ultrasonic test equipment for the industrial inspection arena. Typical applications include thickness monitoring (IE corrosion monitoring in pipelines) and flaw (IE cracks) detection. Industries include Aerospace, petrochemical and Automotive to mention a few.
NDT Systems, Inc. is a 20 person company offering diversity and a fair amount of autonomy in a position. We definitely are not a large "Boeing" type employer. Our engineering dept consists of a group who deal with everything from concept through prototype and passing to manufacturing.
Products range from embedded instruments based on the Atmel, Atmega 128 family to 68332 embedded devices programmed primarily in C. Windows application capability also a plus.
Position requires the ability to provide device control, data acquisition and format for display on LCD incorporating graphics controllers such as an Epson 1335 controllers & TFT panels in real time. Obviously, system level schematic understanding is virtually necessary.
A degree not necessarily required BUT, Demonstrated capability is required. The candidate must be able to demonstrate competence and creative thinking as well as problem resolution in this area.

Engineering Test Technician
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose high frequency analog, RF and digital ultrasonic test equipment to component level. Equipment includes handheld, embedded microprocessor equipment as well as highly integrated, PC based data acquisition equipment. Ideal candidate will posses a strong knowledge of PC architecture and use as well as baseline programming capability in common languages. Please review our products section for an idea of products manufactured.
This position will require customer interface and interaction from factory. Little to no travel required currently. This is an ideal position for a person who knows their technology and is willing to work independently or as part of a group.

Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician
This position is in our Ultrasonic Transducer Department.
This position requires a high degree of dexterity and very good soldering skills, especially with small and diverse parts. Prototype Machinist
Conventional Lathe/Mill as well as CNC programming and setup. Work as part of our custom design team in the development of custom as well as standard "low run" production parts. Familiar with various materials such as steel, stainless steel, Aluminum, and assorted standard plastics. Must possess strong work ethics, and capable of working independently or as part of a team. ACAD & Gibbs or comparable CAM program helpful. This position allows for a fair amount of design and integration of custom projects as well as portable robotic scanners. Part Time Assembly Technician
This position is PERFECT for you while the kids are in school. Working in our Ultrasonic Transducer Department, responsibilities will include assembly of various coaxial cable assemblies as well as assorted cable bundles. In addition some simple work with epoxies will be required. This position requires a moderate degree of dexterity and good soldering skills, especially with small and diverse parts.

Customer Service / Reception / Phones
This is a front office position with varying responsibilities including direct customer contact, order entry and invoicing and general clerical duties. Ideal candidate would have a friendly and polite personality with a desire to work customers around the world. Bookkeeping/Accounting experience is a strong plus.
Additionally, the ideal candidate would need to have good communication skills. Other strong attributes include proficiency in computer skills as well as working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and others. 40 WPM Typing.
